Zella Ferguson

Mrs. Zella E. Ferguson, age 87, of LaPorte, Ind., died 11:45 AM Saturday, November 25, 2006, at Fountainview Terrace in La Porte, Ind. She was born April 2, 1919 in Crawford County, Wisc. to the late Christian Osthoff and the late Maude Jarrett Osthoff. She has lived in the LaPorte area for 50 years.On August 9, 1953 in LaPorte, Ind. she married Orace Ray Ferguson who preceded in death on July 11, 1988.She is survived by her Four Daughters, Jeanne Knight of San Diego, Calif., Sue Workman of Kerrville, Texas, Jane E. Geren of San Francisco, Calif., Stormy Nick Smith of Kendallville, Ind.; Two Sons, Daniel Jane Susan Geren of La Porte, Ind., Alan Ferguson of Indianapolis, Ind.; Fifteen grandchildren; and Nine great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband; Son, Larry Geren; Two Granddaughters, Allison Ferguson, Shelly Geren; Two Sisters; and Eight Brothers.Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday, November 28, 2006 and 11:00 AM Wednesday until time of the service. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 29, 2006, Rev. Robert Burchfield officiating.
