Zachary Shamp

Zachary B. Shamp November 4, 1953-November 4, 2015 Mr. Zachary B. Shamp, 62, of Walkerton, Indiana, passed away suddenly Wednesday November 4, 2015 in Newberry, MI. He was born November 4, 1953 in La Porte, Indiana, the son of Donald H. Shamp and Betty J. (Hull) Shamp. Zack was employed by NCI Building Systems for 28 years. He was past Volunteer Fireman for the Kingsbury Vol. Fire Dept., member of the La Porte Co. Sunday Farmers, Corn Items Collectors, and many Tractor clubs. His interests were gardening, railroad history, collecting and restoring antique tractors and farm equipment, their annual fishing vacation in Osakis, MN, and his beloved pets. He married Mary Lou Herring who preceded him in death. He married Mary Helen Wray who survives. He is also survived by his mother Betty J. Shamp of Kingsbury, and his sister, Donna (Larry) Cheeks of Valparaiso, IN. Zachary was also preceded in death by his father Donald H. Shamp Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN A graveside service will be held at Kingsbury Cemetery, Monday November 9, 2015 at 11:00 am CST with Rev.
