Wilma Lenardson

Mrs. Wilma J. Lenardson, age 76, of 119 David Ct., La Porte, Ind., died Saturday, January 21, 2006, at 1:43 AM, at LaPorte Hospital in La Porte, Ind. She was born Pct. 13, 1929 in Cassopolis, Mich. to the late William Barter and the late Estel Akin Barter. She has been a resident of the LaPorte area for nearly 50 years. Mrs. Lenardson was the manager of Ladies Clothing at Low's Clothing Store for 27 years and retired in 1994. She was a member of Pinola Grange #2204, Volunteer at LaPorte Hospital; she was a loving Mother, Grandmother & Great grandmother. She loved to bake and read. On November 296, 1947 in Battle Creek, Mich. she married Robert Lenardson who survives. She is also survived by One Daughter, Sherrie Bennitt of Virginia Beach, Va.; Two Sons, Mr. Barry Lenardson of Green Bank, W. Va., Mr. Danny Angie Lenardson of La Porte, Ind.; One Sister, Mrs. Wana Jean Howard Wright of Dowagiac, Mich.; Five grandchildren, Mrs. Jennifer Ken Diedrich of Virginia Beach, VA., Mr. Ryan Jessica Wilke of Tampa, FL., Mr. Barrett Lenardson of Luray, VA., Miss Sara Lenardson of LaPorte, IN., Arron Lenardson of Green Bank, WV.; Five great-grandchildren; and Several nieces and nephews. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. A celebration of life will be held at the Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Tuesday, January 24, 2006. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 208 S.
