William Schlundt

Mr. William F. Schlundt, 69, of 4755 W. CR 900 S., Union Mills, IN., died Thursday, March 4, 2004, at 7:33 p.m., at his home. He was born June 11, 1934 in LaPorte, IN., to William H. and Oguerite Bremer Schlundt and has been a life long resident of the Union Mills area. Mr. Schlundt Retired from Whirlpool Corp. in 1994 after 29 years of service. He was a member of Wagon Masters of LaPorte for 20 years, DuPage Co. Draft Association for 28 years, and the Whirlpool Double Decade club. Surviving are two daughters, Patricia Cornwell of Palm City, FL., and Judy A. Tom Cunningham of Union Mills, IN.; two granddaughters, Brittany Jason Schadt, and Stephanie Christenson; one grandson, Dylan Schlundt; one great granddaughter, Chloe Schadt; one brother, Robert Schlundt of Union Mills, IN.; one sister, Ellen Lamar Huhnke of Hanna, IN.; and a close friend Rusty Bennitt. Preceded in death are his parents and one son, Charles W. Schlundt. The funeral will be Tuesday March 9, 2004, at 10:30 a.m. at the Haverstock Funeral Home, LaPorte, IN., with Pastor John Beehler officiating. Friends may call Monday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. Tuesday until the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family of William F. Schlundt.
