William Adrian

Mr. William "Bill" E. Adrian, age 68, of La Porte, Ind., died 3:45 PM Monday, October 8, 2007, at his residence in La Porte, Ind. He was born May 2, 1939 in Michigan City, Ind. to the late Rita Adrian. He has lived in the LaPorte and Michigan City area all of his life. Mr. Adrian was employed by Gerwin Industries of Michigan City, Ind. as a purchasing agent and headed up production control for 23 years. He then went to work for I/N Kote in New Carlisle for 14 year. He also was co-owner of Red Carpet Park Place Realty in LaPorte for 11 year. He loved taking care of his yard, vacationing with his children and playing with his grandchildren. He was a huge NASCAR fan, Dale Earnhardt was his favorite driver. On February 27, 1960 in Michigan City, Ind. he married Joan Frederick who survives. He is also survived by One Daughters, Mrs. Lisa Scott Harris of La Porte, Ind.; Three Sons, Mr. Alan Adrian of Pine Bluff, Ark., Mr. Scott Jennifer Adrian of Saugany Lake, Ind., Mr. Brian Becky Adrian of Pittsburgh, Pa.; Five grandchildren, Jennifer Adrian, Sarah Adrian, Zoya Harris, Noland Adrian, Nathan Adrian; One Half sister-Mr. Barbara Mike Fuzy of Michigan City, Ind.; Daughter-in-law Patty Adrian of La Porte, Ind. He is preceded in death by his Mother. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, October 11, 2007 and from 9:30 AM Friday until time of the Service. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Friday, October 12, 2007, Rev. Kevin Galloway officiating. Interment will be at Pine Lake Cemetery in LaPorte, Ind.
