Wayne Beckham

Mr. Wayne R. Beckham, age 68, of La Porte, Ind., died Friday, November 7, 2008, at LaPorte Hospital in LaPorte, Ind. He was born on September 6, 1940 in LaPorte, Ind. to the late Edgar Beckham and the late Dolores Bayer Beckham. In lived in the LaPorte, area most of his life, except living in Iowa from 1982 to 1995. Mr. Beckham was employed by Richardson's Jewelry and also worked at Menards's in management. He was a member of the Church of the Brethren in LaPorte, Ind. Wayne graduated from Rolling Prairie High School and then graduate from Oakland College in Indiana. He was also a Veteran of US Army during Viet Nam Era. He is survived by his; One Daughter, May Lee Tae Cho of Colorado; Two Grandchildren, Nicole Cho and Macy Cho; Two Sisters, Alice Hall of La Porte, Ind., Birtie Adams of La Porte, Ind.; One Brother, Laurel Beckham of Knox, Ind.; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 11, 2008. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 11, 2008, Rev. Joseph Keller officiating. Burial will be at Rolling Prairie Cemetery in Rolling Prairie, Ind.
