Warren Hundt

Mr. Warren L Hundt, 83, of La Porte, Indiana, died Sunday June 27, 2010 at Brentwood Assisted Living in La Porte, IN. He was born August 2, 1926 in Union Mills, Indiana, the son of Louis Hundt and Sophia Langman Hundt. Warren worked as a machinist for McGill Manufacturing for 35 years and retired in 1988. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Keenager group of the church and he was a trustee of the church. He enjoyed doing maintenance work around the church. He was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean Conflict and he was an avid Cubs fan. On April 19, 1953, in La Porte, IN he married Annette Lindgren Hundt who survives. He is also survived by his 2 sons - Randal Hundt of Lancaster, PA, Jeffrey Terri Hundt of La Porte, IN; 2 Sisters - Gladys Wallace of Medford, OR, Vera Nelson of La Porte, IN; 2 Grandchildren - Sarah and Kevin; 3 step-grandchild - Shaun, Damon, and Roxanna. Warren was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, and 6 brothers. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Wednesday, June 30, 2010 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm & at the Church on Thursday, July 01, 2010 from 9:00 am - 10:00 am. Services will be held at Grace Baptist Church, Thursday July 1, 2010 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Kim Landrum officiating. Interment will follow at the Patton Cemetery, La Porte, Indiana.
