Warren Bailey

Warren Bailey February 13, 1934-May 23, 2018 Warren Bailey, 84, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Golden Living Center Fountainview in LaPorte, Indiana. He was born February 13, 1934 in Harriman, Tennessee, the son of Thomas Bailey and Lillian (Raymond) Bailey. Warren was a member of the local plumbers union and a former member of the Kingsbury Masonic Lodge. In his spare time, Warren enjoyed gardening and playing many musical instruments, some being the organ and guitar. On November 1, 1953, in Georgia, he married Thelma Gibson Bailey who preceded in death July 6, 2009. He is survived by his daughter, Pamela (Michael) Higley of La Porte, IN; sister, Molly Moore of Oakridge, TN; granddaughter, Michele Kirby of Elyria, OH; grandson, Ryan Higley of Indianapolis, IN; and many nieces and nephews. Warren was preceded in death by both his parents and eight brothers and sisters. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, Indiana where the family will receive friends Tuesday, May 29, 2018, 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Ann Dill officiating.
