Mrs. Wanda Lee Parker, age 78, of La Porte, Ind., died Thursday, July 24, 2008, at Golden LivingCenter-LaPorte in LaPorte, Ind. She was born on September 13, 1929 in LaPorte, Ind. to the late Garland Fisher and the late Elsie Swearinger Fisher. Mrs. Parker was a homemaker and was a member of First United Methodist Church in LaPorte, Ind... She enjoyed spending time with her grandaughter. On December 3, 1948 in LaPorte, Ind., she married Paul Parker, who preceded, January 11, 2004. She is survived by her ;One Son, Bruce L. Beth Parker of La Porte, Ind.; One Grandchild, Jessica Parker of LaPorte, Ind. and One Sister, Betty Sue Winters of Lake Wales, Fla. She is preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Paul Parker, One brother, Bill Fisher Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM Sunday, July 27, 2008 and on Monday, July 28, 2008 from 9:00 AM, until time of service...
