Vivian Faye Parker January 14, 1934-December 5, 2013 Mrs. Vivian Faye Parker, 79, of Westville, Indiana, died Thursday December 5, 2013 at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital in Michigan City, IN. She was born January 14, 1934 in Valparaiso, Indiana, the daughter of Clark Dickinson and Mabel (Fleming) Dickinson. Vivian worked as an office manager for Carson Pirie Scott, retiring after thirty-one years. She was a member of Rolling Prairie United Methodist Church and the Senior Center in Westville. Vivian was involved with the food bank for the church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and church friends. On May 2, 1959, she married Robert Parker who preceded her in death on April 11, 1995. She is survived by her son - Bill (LeEllen) Parker of IA; step-son - Joseph (Jackie) Watnick of LaPorte, IN; 2 daughters - Susan (John) Rosenwinkel of IL, Linda Proud of La Porte, IN; 2 step-daughters - Betty (Dave) Schaefer of Rolling Prairie, IN, Debra (Mike) Harris of Rolling Prairie, IN; eight grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Sandra Parker, one brother; four sisters, and special-friend, Joe Watnick, Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN. A memorial service will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., on Tuesday December 10, 2013 at 11:00 am with Pastor Debbie Beason, officiating. Cremation will take place.
