Virginia Wilson

Mrs. Virginia E. Qualls Wilson, age 88, of La Porte, Ind., died Wednesday, March 8, 2006, at 3:30 PM at LaPorte Hospital in La Porte, Ind. She was born June 16, 1917 in Humbolt, Tenn. to the late Lutz Qualls and the late Rebecca Woods Qualls. She has lived in the LaPorte area since 1979 coming from Michigan City, IN. Mrs. Wilson was a Homemaker. She Loved to fish, do crocheting, play bingo, quilting and was a member of the Red Hat Society, very sociable and talkative Never met a stranger, Loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great grandmother. She married James William Wilson who preceded her in death June 21, 1979. She is survived by her Three Daughters, Mrs. Peggy Jody Gilchrist of Lake Mary, Fla., Mrs. Ruby Tarwater of Kingsford Heights, Ind., Mrs. Patricia J.B. Prater of Kingsford Heights, Ind., One Son, Mr. James D. Wilson of La Porte, Ind.; Seven grandchildren, Ralph Betty Flanigan of Michigan City, IN., Rebecca Jeffrey Schoof of LaPorte, Samantha Beal of Kingsford Heights, Frank Rae Cabal of LaPorte, Diane Jeff Beal of LaPorte, James Joni Coleman of Hamlet, Jacqueline Wilson of LaPorte; Ten great-grandchildren; Three great-great grandchildren, Many Nieces and Nephews. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, March 10, 2006. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 11, 2006, Pastor David Rogers officiating. Interment will be at Pine Lake Cemetery in LaPorte, Ind.
