Virginia Miller

Mrs. Virginia Louise Miller, age 84, of La Porte, IN., died Sunday, March 12, 2006, at Decedent's Residence in La Porte, IN. She was born July 30, 1921 in Michigan City, Indiana, to Helen Smith, who has preceded. Also preceded in death are two brothers, Leo Morrison, George Bielski, three sons, Ross Lee Miller, Dennis Miller, Melvin E. Miller, Infant Daughter, Sandra Miller. On January 15, 1938 in Michigan City, Indiana, she was married to Bernard L. Miller, who preceded, September 24, 1993. Mrs. Miller has lived all her life in the LaPorte, area. Mrs. Miller was a Homemaker and was a member of Lambs Chapel United Methodist Church. She was also a Loving mother, a mother to everyone, good sense of humor, loved to do cross-word puzzles, crocheting, took care of everyone in her family. She liked camping in all types of weather, and loved her dog Snickers. Surviving, are Two Daughters, Mrs. Candy S. Wendel of Mishawaka, IN, Mrs. Judy K. Larry Stevens of La Porte, IN, Four Sons, Mr. Raymond E. Miller of Westville, IN, Mr. Howard Sharon Miller of Crossville, Tenn, Mr. Mike L. Cindy Miller of La Porte, IN, Mr. Bernard L. Cora Miller, Jr. of La Porte, IN, Two Sisters, Elaine Baker of Michigan City, IN, Alice Paul Criswell of Muncie, IN, One Brother, Neil Charlene Bielski of California, Mrs. Miller has Twenty One grandchildren, Twenty Two great-grandchildren, Three great-great grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, March 16, 2006, and from 9:00 AM, Friday March 17, 2006 until time of service. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Friday, March 17, 2006 , with Pastor Jay Loucks officiating. Interment will be at Lambs Chapel Cemetery in LaPorte, IN.
