Mrs. Violet M. Kissinger, 76 of 9494 S. 250 E. Hamlet, Indiana died Monday January 3, 2005 at 9:00 PM at her residence in Hamlet. She was born April 3, 1928 in Union Mills, Indiana to Claude and Grace S. Cumerford Lute who has proceeded. Mrs. Kissinger has lived all her life in the LaPorte, area. On October 4, 1947 in Kingsbury, Indiana she was married to Claude H. Kissinger who proceeded, July 20, 2003. Also preceded is a brother, Mr. Walter Lute. Mrs. Kissinger worked for Mid-American Electric Cord as a Laborer; she was with them for 5 years, retiring in 1993. Mrs. Kissinger was a member of the Tracy United Methodist Church; she received a 50 year service award from the Tracy United Methodist Church, she taught Sunday school for 25 years, and belonged to the United Methodist Women. Surviving are five daughter?s, Catherine Kissinger of Hamlet, IN, Susan Kissinger of Reno, NV, Louise Don Forsyth of Lewis, IN, Pamela Kissinger of Houston, TX, Betty Murphy of Ossian, IN, two son?s, Thomas Kissinger of LaPorte, IN, Mark Josie Kissinger of Dallas, TX, three sister?s, Gladys Huhnke of Wanatah, IN, Marian Allenstein of Whitewater, WI, Estella Rosenbaum of Wanatah, IN, and a brother, Sherman Lute of Hanna, IN. Mrs. Kissinger has 13 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. The Funeral will be Saturday January 8, 2005 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Dorothy Jones officiating. Friends may call on Friday January 7, 2005 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Haverstock Funeral Home Inc. and Saturday January 8, 2005 from 9:00 AM until time of service.
