Violet Binversie

Mrs. Violet M. Binversie, age 84, of La Porte, Ind., died 12:45 AM Sunday, August 31, 2008, at La Porte Hospital in La Porte, Ind. She was born Aug. 29, 1924 in La Porte, Ind. to the late Robert White and the late Harriet Pflugshaupht White. Mrs. Binversie was employed by Howmet Corp. for 25 years and retired in 1991. She had also worked at the Soda Fountain at Meyers Drug Store and after retirement for McDonalds as a Lobby attendant. She loved working with the public. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing spending time with her grandchildren and she loved to cook. She is survived by her Three Sons, Mr. Robert B. Binversie of La Porte, Ind., Mr. Michael R. Binversie of Milwaukee, Wis., Mr. Brett A. Binversie of La Porte, Ind.; Four grandchildren; Four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her Parents, One Brother, Norman White; Two sisters, Joyce Kleine and Pearl Loraine Tkacz. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM Wednesday, September 3, 2008. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 6:30 PM Wednesday, September 3, 2008. Cremation will follow.
