Verna Schadowsky

Mrs. Verna E. Schweder Schadowsky, age 83, of La Porte, IN, died Monday, September 11, 2006, at LaPorte Hospital in La Porte, IN. She was born March 8, 1923 in LaPorte, IN, to William Schweder and Clara Messman Schweder, who has preceded. Also preceded is a brother, Mr. Harold Schweder, and her husband Mr. Louis Schadowsky. On August 7, 1943 in Tracy, Indiana, she was married to Louis Schadowsky, who preceded, January 5, 1955. Mrs. Schadowsky was a homemaker and was a member of St. Johns Lutheran. She was also a member of V.F.W. Auxilliary, Circle 8 of St. John's Lutheran Church. Surviving are Three Daughters, Mrs. Donna Dale McAllister of Gladwin, MI, Mrs. Elaine Warren Foster of Michigan City, IN, Mrs. Linda Fred Wolfenbarger of Hanna, IN, Two Sons, Mr. William Schadowsky of La Porte, IN, Mr. William Cathy Schadowsky of La Porte, IN, Three Sisters, Mrs. Esther Pawlikowski of La Porte, IN, Mrs. Betty Towle of La Porte, IN, Mrs. Marie McAllister of La Porte, IN, Two Brothers, Mr. Lester Schweder of Hobart, IN, Mr. Frank Schweder of La Porte, IN, Nine grandchildren, Twelve great-grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, September 13, 2006, and from 9:00 AM Thursday September 14, 2006 until time of service. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 10:00 AM Thursday, September 14, 2006 , with Rev. David Young officiating. Interment will be at Pine Lake Cemetery in LaPorte, IN.
