Mrs. Verna Jane Miller, age 87, of LaPorte, IN., died Wednesday, September 28, 2005, at Decedent's Residence in LaPorte, IN. She was born March 19, 1918 in LaPorte, IN to Arville Bilderback and Verna Wolf Bilderback, who has preceded. Mrs. Miller recently moved back to LaPorte, Indiana, since retiring to Lake Placid, Florida in 1976. On June 16, 1940 she was married to Phillip R. Miller, who preceded on October 21, 1990. Mrs. Miller was a Housewife She was a member of Tops, VFW Auxilliary of Rolling Prairie, life-time Auxilliary #9423 member, 1918 Club in Sebring, Florida, Community Christian Church in Sebring, Florida.. . Surviving are Six Daughters, Mrs. Mary A. Bill Sage of La Porte, IN, Mrs. Myrna Harold Weiland of La Porte, IN, Mrs. Marjory Warren Osborn of South Bend, IN, Mrs. Martha Ebersole of Lake Placid, FL, Mrs. Marie Bill Downs of Brandon, FL, Mrs. Margaret Pete Rodriquez of Sebring, FL, Three Sons, Mr. Phillip A Miller of Lake Placid, FL, Mr. Mitchell A. Martha Lee Miller of Lake Placid, FL, Mr. Ray A. Cindy Miller of La Porte, IN, Mrs. Miller has Seventeen grandchildren and Thirteen great-grandchildren Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN, a Memorial Service will be at First Christian Church of Rolling Prairie at 10:00 AM Saturday, October 8, 2005 , with Bro. Ransom Ebersole officiating. Cremation will take place, Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lake Placid, FL.
