Valecia Boshers

Ms. Valecia Denise Boshers, 52, of Andrews, Indiana, formerly of LaPorte, IN. died Tuesday March 2, 2010 in her home. She was born January 5, 1958 in LaPorte, Indiana, the daughter of Clayton "Sam" Lindsey and Hilda Sutton Lindsey. She had lived in the LaPorte, area for twelve years, coming from Tennessee. Valecia worked as a caregiver. She was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church. Valecia loved to cook and was an avid novel reader and a nature lover. She was a people person and enjoyed her family and friends. She is survived by her life partner, John Rule of Andrews, IN; four sisters, Vandal Jim West of Belleville, MI, Candy Lindsey of Pulaski, TN, Kim Kevin Shaver of Palm Beach, FL, Valerie Jeff Ozark of Belleville, MI; two brothers, Danny Lindsey of New Carlisle, IN, Scott Lindsey of New Carlisle, IN., thirteen nieces and nephews and ten great nieces and nephews. Valecia was preceded in death by her parents. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Friday, March 5, 2010 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Saturday, March 6, 2010 from 10:00 am, until time of service. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Saturday March 6, 2010 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Ronald Devenport officiating. Interment will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Mill Creek, Indiana.
