Valarie Thompson

Mrs. Valarie A. Tarr Thompson, age 49, of Denver, N.C. formerly of LaPorte, Ind., died Thursday, June 12, 2008, at Denver, N.C. She was born September 23, 1958 in South Bend, Ind. to the late Donald Tarr and Arlene Miller Tarr. On June 29, 1991 in North Caroline she married Timothy Dale Thompson who survives. She is also survived by her Two Daughters, Angela Tarr of La Porte, Ind., Jennifer Martin of North Carolina; Two Sons, Jonathan W. Jacobsen of La Porte, Ind., Christopher Martin of Denver, N.C.; Seven grandchildren; One Sister, Joy Turner of Fish Lake, Ind.; and One Brother, Dennis Tarr of La Porte, Ind. He is preceded in death by his Father and One Brother Gregg Tarr. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday, June 21, 2008. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 21, 2008, Rev. Sandra Tarr officiating. Interment will be at Pine Lake Cemetery in LaPorte, Ind.
