Tony Ray Johnson, 61, of  La Porte,IN, passed away Monday June 27, 2022 at Northwest Health in La Porte.

He was born April 8, 1961 in Linton, Indiana, the son of Charles and Ann (Bedwell) Johnson.

A long time resident of the area, Tony worked in maintenance at FasPac in La Porte.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting and his grandchildren were his joy.   He loved hanging around with good friend Nick Stegall and nephew Russell Jones, who always came over to drink "HIS" Fireball!

He is survived by his fiance, April Robinson of La Porte; his son, Earl Johnson of MO; two daughters, Jamie Johnson of MI, Jennifer Norem of La Porte, IN; brothers, Jimmy and Tommy Johnson, both of Rolling Prairie, IN; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents; several step-brothers and sisters and Jennifer's mother, Pam Schweder.

Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN.  Cremation will take place and a cookout in his honor will be announced at a later date.  You may contact April or Jennifer for more information.
