Todd Emerson Gilbert April 6, 1965-November 20, 2019 Todd Emerson Gilbert, 54, of Rolling Prairie, IN, passed away Wednesday November 20, 2019 at La Porte Hospital in La Porte, IN. He was born April 6, 1965 in Des Moines, Iowa and recently moving from Kansas to Rolling Prairie to be closer to his family. Todd is a long time standing Southern Baptist and a member of the Masonic Lodge. Todd was a true "You Tube" junkie as well as a political junkie holding a sound opinion on his beliefs. He was always sending funny videos to his family and friends. He enjoyed raising vegetables and fishing. Todd loved listening to southern rock bands like Bob Seger, The Eagles, in addition to the rock group "The Wait". Most of all Todd loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his two daughters, Krystal (Robert) Kuehl of Valparaiso, IN; Kayla Gilbert; son, Dustin Kyle (Courtney) Gilbert; two Grandchildren, Kylie and Austin Kuehl. Todd was preceded in death by his parents and Bear his dog. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN. The family will have a memorial service for Todd at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children 2211 N.
