Thomas J. Thresh February 27, 1953-December 27, 2013 Mr. Thomas J. Thresh , 60, of La Porte, Indiana, died Friday December 27, 2013 at Indiana University Health La Porte Hospital. He was born February 27, 1953 in Valparaiso, Indiana, the son of Billy Thresh and Ethel (Dunkelbarger) Thresh. Thomas worked as a corrections officer for Indiana Department of Corrections. He was a member of A.B.A.T.E. He is survived by his 3 sons - Thomas (Lisa Dare) Thresh of Greenfield, IN, Christopher Thresh of Mount Juliet, TN, John (Amanda) Thresh of Mount Vernon, WA; daughter - Katherine (Jason) Jacobs of Indianapolis, IN; 6 grandchildren; 3 sisters - Billie Ruth Womack of La Porte, IN, Mary Ellen Robbins of Culleoka, TN, and Charlene Jared of Mims, FL. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, John O. Thresh. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN.
