Thomas Jackson

Mr. Thomas L. Jackson, Sr., age 70, of La Porte, Ind., died 9:20 PM Saturday, December 31, 2005, at LaPorte Hospital in La Porte, Ind. He was born November 5, 1935 in Stillwell, Ind. to the late Leonard Jackson and the late Hazel Lindsley Jackson. He has lived in the LaPorte area all of his life. Mr. Jackson was employed by Blocksom & Co of Michigan City, Ind. for twenty five years after retiring in 1999. He enjoyed Fishing, Wood Working, Crafts and Antique Collecting. On March 3, 1965 in LaPorte, Ind. he married Bonnie Lloyd who preceded in death Dec. 30, 2004 He is survived by his Two Daughters, Mrs. Dianne Bruce Allen of La Porte, Ind., Mrs. Deanna Rick Carlson of Michigan City, Ind.; One Step Daughter-Theresa Robert Davey of Valparaiso, Ind; Five Sons, Mr. Taylor Lisa Jackson of Mill Creek, Ind., Mr. Thomas Kim Jackson, Jr. of Stillwell, Ind., Mr. Tommy Jackson of LaPorte, Ind., Mr. Karl Melody Jackson of La Porte, Ind., Mr. Greg Karwick of Michigan City, Ind.; One Sister, Mrs. Mary Charles Daniels of Salem Heights, Ind.; and Ten grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 4, 2006. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 4, 2006, Rev. Mark Daniels officiating. Interment will be at Patton Cemetery in La Porte, Ind.
