Theresa Towle, 56, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away peacefully with her husband and children at her side, Tuesday May 18, 2021 at home.

She was born June 1, 1964 in La Porte, Indiana. A lifelong resident of the area, Theresa grew up in Michigan City. On November 30, 2011, in West Virginia, she married her best friend of 20 years, Barry Towle, who survives her.

She is also survived by her stepmother, Nancy Biller of La Porte, IN;  two sons, Nathan Kinder of Knox, IN, Joshua Kinder of Plymouth, IN; stepdaughter, Sara (Mason) Towle of Texas; stepson, Barry James (Tasha) Towle, Jr of Knox; bonus daughter, Skyra Allen of West Virginia; brother, Steve Biller of La Porte; stepbrothers, Ron (Donna) Domogola and Tom (Kris) Domogola, both of La Porte; stepsisters, Tina (Dave) Naughton and Michelle (Billy) Land, both of La Porte; sister in law, Mickey (Donald) Brady of Michigan City; father and mother in law, James and Doris Towle of La Porte; grandchildren, Nataylee, Candyce, Danny, Kaitlyn, Leanna, Kacy, Elsie, Natalee and Hayden and several nieces and nephews.

Theresa was preceded in death by her father, John Biller.

Theresa was an energetic and loving woman who enjoyed camping, off roading and riding on the back of Barry's Harley.  Together they made several cross-country trips and she especially loved the Smokey Mountains and North Carolina. Theresa loved to paint houses so much that she made it her career, using her beloved orange van as her business card.  She was a selfless, caring and giving person and she passed all of that love to her special joys, her grandchildren!  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN.  Cremation has been selected, with a celebration of life party at a later date.
