Mr. Theodore A. Emigh, age 79, of Michigan City, Ind., died Friday, August 8, 2008, at St. Anthony Hospital in Michigan City, Ind. He was born on August 23, 1928 in LaPorte, Ind. to the late Virgil Emigh and the late Ada McPherson Emigh. He lived most of his life in the Michigan City, LaPorte, area. He married on September 20, 1953 in LaPorte, Ind to Betty McAllister, who survives. Mr. Emigh was employed by Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 21 years and retired in 1985, was a member of First United Methodist Church in Michigan City, Ind.. He was a Veteran of the US Army during the Korean War. Member of the Masonic Lodge, Life member of V.F.W. #1130, he served as a color-guard in the VFW. He coached Little League Baseball, he enjoyed the Chicago Cubs, loved his family very much.. . He is survived by his wife; Betty Emigh of Michigan City, Ind.; One Daughter, Michele Robert Zeese of Chesterton, Ind. Three Sons, Michael Rosemary Emigh of Michigan City, Ind., Mark Christine Emigh of Mill Creek, Ind., Brett Emigh of Rolling Prairie, Ind. Eleven Grandchildren; Lynn Tim Czizek, Jennifer Bobby Whiteneck, Mallory Emigh, Theodore Emigh, Anthony Zeese, Elizabeth Zeese, Tyler Emigh, Jamie Kim Baldwin, Chuck Lisa Baldwin, Greg Downey, Brian Alexis Downey; Seven great-grandchildren, Jesse Baldwin, Holly Baldwin, Parker Czizek, Hunter Whiteneck, Heydon Whiteneck, Breyden Downey, Logan Downey and One Sister, Sherry David Jones of Rolling Prairie, Ind. He is preceded in death by his parents. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, August 11, 2008 and from 9:00 AM Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at Haverstock Funeral Home, until time of service.. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 12, 2008 , with Pastor John Hall, officiating. Interment will be at Patton Cemetery in LaPorte, Ind. A Military Service will be conducted by the VFW Post #1130 at the Patton Cemetery, LaPorte, Ind.
