Theda Messenger

Mrs. Theda A. Messenger, 87 of 1700 I Street LaPorte, Indiana died Thursday November 11, 2004 at 7:10a.m. At LaPorte Hospital. She was born June 15, 1917 in Three Oaks, MI, To William and Nellie Day Zebell who has proceeded. Mrs. Messenger lived most of her life in the LaPorte area. On July 24, 1953 in LaPorte, Indiana she was married to Fred R. Messenger who proceeded, March 27, 1993. Mrs. Messenger worked at Indiana Molding as a Finisher for 17 years, she retired in 1979. Mrs. Messenger was a member of the First Christian Church and of LaPorte Hospital Auxiliary. Also preceded in death are two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Edinger, Mrs. Luella Isenblatter, two brothers, Mr. William Zebell, Mr. Earl Zebell, a grandson, Mr. Jeffrey McGee. Surviving is a daughter Mrs. Sharon K. Ron Shail of LaPorte, IN, a son Mr. Larry Messenger of Arizona, and several nieces and nephews. There will be no service or visitation, Burial of ashes will take place at a later date. Memorial contribution may be made to the American Cancer Society.
