Terence Metcalf

Mr. Terence C. Metcalf, age 21, of La Porte, IN, died Saturday, November 12, 2005, at Orr Lake Rd. North of Small Road in La Porte, IN. He was born February 3, 1984 in Winamac, IN, to Bernard Metcalf and Ann Koselke Metcalf, who survive. Preceded in death is a Paternal Grandfather, Mr. Kenneth Metcalf, Maternal Grandmother, Mrs. Catherine Metcalf. Mr. Metcalf has lived all of his life in the LaPorte area. Mr. Metcalf was employed by Dairy Queen as an Assistant Manager, and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Terence, was currently attending Ivy Tech as a General Business Major, he was very active in his church youth group, he was the 8th Grade Religion Instructor for the church. He enjoyed running, and was a life guard at the YMCA for approx. 2 years. Surviving are his parents, Bernard and Mrs. Ann Metcalf of LaPorte, IN, One Sister, Kristian Metcalf of La Porte, IN, Two Brothers, Spc. Erik Fiance' Reina Coert Metcalf, stationed in Iraq, Brother, Mr. Scott Metcalf of La Porte, IN, Maternal Grandparents, A.F. and Laurie Koselke of Wanatah, IN, and several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, November 18, 2005, and from 9:45 AM Saturday 11/19/2005 at Haverstock Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10:00 AM Saturday, November 19, 2005, with Rev. Ian Williams officiating. Interment will be at Patton Cemetery in LaPorte, IN. A Rosary Service will be conducted at 7:00 PM Friday 11/18/2005 at Haverstock Funeral Home.
