Steven Kuntz

Mr. Steven J. Kuntz, 58, of New Carlisle, Indiana, passed away, Sunday July 11, 2010 at La Porte Hospital. He was born September 11, 1951 in Lafayette, Indiana, the son of Marvin Kuntz and Clara Toney Kuntz. Steven worked in maintenance for the Eaton Corp. He graduated from LaCrosse High School in 1970. Steve enjoyed fishing and camping. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Steve had always been a hard worker. On January 31, 1972, in St. Joseph, MI, he married Hattie Schultz Kuntz who survives. He is also survived by his two sons - Steven Kuntz of New Carlisle, IN, Christopher Andrea Kuntz of Hudson Lake, IN; two daughters -Tracy L. Kuntz of Lafayette, IN., Gloria McLoughlin of Wheatfield, IN; eight grandchildren; one great- grandchild; one brother - Marvin "Skip" Kuntz; four sisters - Donna Sholty, Susan Stintson, Debra Gibson, and Cricket Kuntz-Clark. Steven was preceded in death by his parents. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Wednesday, July 14, 2010 from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm, and Thursday, July 15, 2010 from 10:00 am, until time of service. Service will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Thursday July 15, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Ransom Ebersole officiating. Cremation will take place.
