Stanley M. "Chip" Levandoski III July 13, 1954-August 9, 2014 Mr. Stanley M. "Chip" Levandoski III, 60, of La Porte, Indiana, died Saturday, August 9, 2014, at Indiana University Health La Porte Hospital. He was born July 13, 1954 in San Antonio, Texas, the son of Stanley J. Levandoski and Beatrice (Jeffries) Levandoski. Stanley owned Stan's Auto Repair, Inc. and was also a former owner of Warehouse Pizza. He liked guns, shooting, and was a historian. He also enjoyed collecting and scraping old cars. He was president of the Neighborhood Watch from 1998 to 2002. Stanley loved spending time with family and friends. He was always ready with a good joke. His bright smile will be missed by everyone that knew him. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and his pet dog, Lucy. On November 18, 2005, in La Porte, he married Loretta Stevens Levandoski who survives. He is also survived by his son, Stanley M. Levandoski IV of La Porte, IN; daughter, Carley Rae Levandoski of La Porte, IN; brother, Eddy King of South Bend, IN; step-brothers, Jason, Dale, and David and step-sisters, Lori, Kendi, Tammy, Kyra, and Julie. Stanley was preceded in death by his parents, and step-father, Louis Cady. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Wednesday, August 13, 2014 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 10:00 am until time of service. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Thursday August 14, 2014 at 11:00 am with Michael Stiller officiating.
