Stanley Chlebowski Iii

Mr. Stanley B. Chlebowski III, 60, of 313 Planett St., died Wednesday September 15, 2004, at 1:30 a.m. at his home. He was born February 19, 1944, in LaPorte, IN. to Stanley B. and Allene M. Peterson Chlebowski Jr. and has lived in the LaPorte area all of his life. Mr. Chlebowski was a third generation house painter and worked for the painters union in South Bend, IN. He loved playing house shoes. Surviving are two sons, Scott Chlebowski and Kevin Chlebowski both of Hermitage, TN.; four sisters, Mrs. Sharon Bob Nell of LaPorte, Mrs. Terry Harold Peterson of LaPorte, IN., Mrs. Beverly Dave Johnson of LaPorte, Mrs. Betty Peterson of Greenfield, IN.; one brother, Mr. David Donna Chlebowski of Rolling Prairie, IN.; two grandchildren; and one step-grandchild. Preceded in death by his parents. A funeral mass will be Friday September 17, 2004 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, with the Rev. Ted Nordquist officiating. Friends may call Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the Haverstock Funeral Home. A Rosary Service will be held at Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte. Memorial contributions may be made to the family of Stanley B. Chlebowski III.
