Shirley Ann Tibbs July 16, 1939-August 6, 2017 The Good and Gracious Lord gained another beautiful angel on Sunday, August 6, 2017. Shirley Ann Tibbs, 78, of Mill Creek, Indiana, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 16, 1939 in Hesston, Indiana, the daughter of Charles Schwank and Elizabeth (Dahl) Schwenk. Shirley loved going to garage sales and spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. On June 14, 1958, in Mill Creek, IN, she married Floyd E. Tibbs, who survives in Mill Creek, IN. She is also survived by her daughter, Deborah Mann of La Porte, IN, and son, Daniel (Karla) Tibbs of Mill Creek, IN; five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren, and one great great-grandchildren; sister, Charlene (Darrel) Galey of Texas. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and great-grandson, Corbin Daniel. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN. A Graveside Service will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery, Wednesday August 9, 2017 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Ron Bauer and Pastor Jason Baker, officiating.
