Shirley Stevens

Mrs. Shirley M. Stevens, age 67, of La Porte, Ind., died Tuesday, October 28, 2008, at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Ind. She was born on September 4, 1941 in LaPorte, Ind. to the late Kenneth Feece and the late Virginia "Jean" Hartman Feece. Shirley had lived in the Rolling Prairie, Ind. area. all of her life. Shirley owned her own business of doing custom draperies and also worked with Window Treatments. She was a member of First Christian Church of Rolling Prairie. She enjoyed the outdoors and doing yard-work. Shirley loved her family and friends.... On June 6, 1980 in Rolling Prairie, Ind. she married Robert Stevens, who survives in Rolling Prairie, Ind. She is also survived by her; One Daughter, Tina Kurt Randall of New Carlisle, Ind.; One Son, Tony Tarnow of Rolling Prairie, Ind.; Three Step-daughters. Bobbie Maesch, Jeri Stevens of Rolling Prairie, Ind. and Jodi Stevens of New Carlisle, Ind.; Five Step-Grandchildren, Sara Towle, Jacob Newland and Brett, Justin and Robbi Stevens.; Two Sisters, Cindy Kaiser of Wanatah, Ind., Barbara Amm of Fort Wayne, Ind.; One Brother, Kenneth Feece of La Porte, Ind. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, October 30, 2008 and from 9:00 AM Friday, October 31, 2008, until time of service. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Friday, October 31, 2008 , with Rev. Ransom Ebersole, officiating. Burial will be at Rolling Prairie Cemetery in Rolling Prairie, Ind.
