Shirley Ruggles

Mrs. Shirley M. Ruggles, 81, of La Porte, Indiana, died Wednesday March 11, 2009 at Golden Living Center-Countryside in LaPorte, IN. She was born November 8, 1927 in Peru, Indiana, the daughter of Thomas Tucker and Julia Reynolds Tucker, living in the LaPorte, area, most of her life. Shirley was self-employed doing housekeeping. She is survived by her two daughters, Pamela J. Daniel Mangold of LaPorte, IN, Debra Donald Schweitzer of Hamlet, IN, one son, Daniel L. Terri Martin of La Porte, IN, Ten Grandchildren, Sixteen Great-grandchildren and one half-brother, Walter L. Lathrop of Plymouth, MN. Shirley was preceded in death by her father, mother, husband, Wally Ruggles, brother, Thomas Tucker, Jr. . Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. There will be a Graveside Service at Oak Grove Cemetery at 11:00 am, on Saturday, March 14, 2009 with Rev. Ransom Ebersole, officiating.
