Shirley Combs March 11, 1941-May 28, 2019 Shirley Combs, 78, of La Porte, IN, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at her home in La Porte, Indiana. She was born March 11, 1941 in La Porte, Indiana, the daughter of Peter Paul and Edna (Conrad) Paul. Shirley enjoyed traveling Indiana, antiquing, and quilting. She made many quilts for her children and grandchildren. On July 5, 1984, in Crawfordsville, IN, she married Henry Combs who survives. She is also survived by her two sons, Peter J. (Gayle ) Hill, Brian P. (Shelly) Hill; two daughters, Debra (Stephen) Meegan, Dawn (Michael) Lemberis; ten Grandchildren, Andrew, Courtney, Seth, Sydney, Stephen, Elysia, Robert, Austin, Stevie, Madison and sister, Ellen (Bill) Hager. Shirley was preceded in death by both her parents. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Thursday, June 6, 2019, from 10:00 am - 11:00 am. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Thursday June 6, 2019 at 11:00 am with Rev. Steve Galloway officiating.
