Shirley Mae Cleaver September 14, 1936-August 10, 2019 Shirley Mae Cleaver, 82, of La Porte, IN, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Golden Living Center - Fountainview Terrace in La Porte, Indiana. She was born September 14, 1936 in La Porte, Indiana, the daughter of James Bell and Cleata Bell. Shirley attended the La Porte Assembly of God. She enjoyed doing gardening, especially taking care of roses. Shirley also enjoyed doing a variety of crafting, including crocheting and needle point. On September 7, 1974, in Florida, she married Ronald Cleaver who preceded in death May 5, 2015. She is survived by her daughter, Lorri Price of La Porte, IN; son, Gary (Donna) Price of Lehigh, FL; two great-grandchildren, Tyler Stone of La Porte, IN, Chloe Trimm of La Porte, IN. Shirley was preceded in death by both her parents; granddaughter, Ashley Stone; two sisters, Nancy Bell and Mary Burlingham. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, Indiana where the family will receive friends Friday, August 30, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Friday, August 30, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jeff Hines officiating.
