Sharon K Doll

Sharon Doll (née Beecher) passed away peacefully on January 13th, 2025.

She was born in Athens, Indiana on November 11th, 1937 to Merrill and Maxine Beecher (née Fetrow). Sharon graduated from LaCrosse High School, and married her high school sweetheart John Doll on July 21st, 1956. A wonderful cook and homemaker, she loved preparing meals for her family and decorating for the holidays. Sharon had a very giving spirit, and was a bright light in her family’s lives. Not a single grandparents’ day, sporting event or recital was missed. A talented seamstress, Sharon outfitted her children and grandchildren in many cherished pieces to be passed down for generations. She was a member of the ladies Hamlet Golf League where she also served as president, making many beautiful, lifelong friendships. She and John enjoyed traveling to Florida each winter, playing golf and visiting with dear friends.

She is survived by her brother LaVerne (Becky) Beecher; her sisters-in-law Patricia Beecher, Carole Welkie, Deanna (Bob) Young and Jeanene DuShane; children Jacqueline (Donald) Pulver, John Doll Jr. and Mary (Donald) Schweer; grandchildren Brian (Kelly) Pulver, Nicole (Nathan) Beane, Anthony (Ashley) Pulver, Trevor Doll and Blair Feldman (fiancé Patrick O’Reilly); great-grandchildren Mallory and Harper Beane, Savannah and Sydney Pulver, and Isabella and August John Pulver. She is preceded in death by her husband John Doll Sr. and her parents and brother Frederick Beecher.

At Sharon’s request, there will be a private service for immediate family only. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Haverstock Funeral Home.
