Mr. Shane L. Dickt, age 29, of Sanford, Fla., died Monday, August 8, 2005, at Decedent's Residence in Sanford, Fla. He was born December 25, 1975 in LaPorte, Indiana to Roman Dickt, Jr. and Thelma Morgan Culp, who survives. Preceded in death is a Maternal Grandparent, Auther & Ora Belle Morgan, Paternal Grandmother, Mrs. Frankie Clanton. Mr. Dickt has lived in Florida for six years, and has lived most of his life in LaPorte, Indiana. Mr. Dickt was employed by McPherson Screens as a screen house installer, and was a member of Deltona Alliance Church. He was also a member of Loyal Order of Moose of Orlando, Florida. Labor Union for 4 years. Enjoyed fishing, playing pool & nintendo. Loved to be with his friend & most of all his daughter. Surviving is his Mother, Mrs. Thelma Jim Culp of LaPorte, IN, his Father, Mr. Roman Dickt, Jr. of D' Iberville, MS, Daughter, Cora E. Dickt of Orlando, Fla, Five Brothers, Rev. Stacy Christy Dickt of Cairo, Ga, Shawn Dickt of La Porte, IN, Stephen Culp of La Porte, IN, James Culp of La Porte, IN, Ryan Culp of Michigan City, IN, Three Sisters, Stephanie Culp of La Porte, IN, Katrina Culp of Michigan City, IN, Shauna Greg Antisdell of La Porte, IN, Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Monday, August 22, 2005. A Memorial service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Monday, August 22, 2005 , with Rev. Stacy Dickt officiating. Cremation will take place.
