Sandra A. Peterson June 3, 1935-December 2, 2013 Mrs. Sandra A. Peterson , 78, of Rolling Prairie, Indiana, died Monday December 2, 2013 at Kindred Hospital of Northern Indiana in Mishawaka, IN. She was born June 3, 1935 in LaPorte, Indiana, the daughter of Perry L. Flagg and Fern (Butler) Flagg. Sandra worked sixteen years as a line worker for American Home Foods. She was a past president and member of the VFW Auxiliary Post #9423 of Rolling Prairie, Indiana. Sandra was an avid reader. She loved all flowers and she especially loved raising african violets. On June 14, 1952, in Rolling Prairie, IN, she married James Peterson who survives. She is also survived by her daughter - Janet (Dan) Davis of New Carlisle, IN; ten grandchildren - Eric Flora of La Porte, IN, Ryan Loucks of La Porte, IN, Jenna Skwirtz of La Porte, IN, Brandon Loucks of La Porte, IN, Heather Sebasty of NC, Alicia Deutscher of Rolling Prairie, IN, Nate Loucks of South Bend, IN, Carissa Chester of Mishawaka, IN, William Peterson of CA, and James Peterson of Indianapolis, IN; twenty-two great-grandchildren; sister - Phyllis Olson of La Porte, IN,; sister-in-law, Betty Flagg of Rolling Prairie, IN and special friend - Donna Cain of Rolling Prairie, IN. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Danny and Douglas Peterson, daughter, Denise Loucks, brother, Leslie Flagg, and sister, Bevra Rose. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN where the family will receive friends Thursday, December 5, 2013 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Friday, December 6, 2013 from 12:00 pm, until time of service. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Friday December 6, 2013 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Nate Loucks, officiating.
