Sandra Harding

Sandra S. Harding (nee Cummins) July 25, 1943-February 2, 2016 Sandra S. Harding age 72, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 with her loving husband by her side. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Jerry A. Harding; sons, Bruce Harding, Terry (Kristi) Harding and Chris (Jessica) Harding; grandchildren, Brian, Angela, Cory, Emily and Andrew; many great grandchildren; brothers, Nick (late Janet) Cummins and Steve (Geraldine) Cummins; and her beloved Shih Tzu dogs, Sissy, Kelly, Sally and Muffin. Preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe and Leona Cummins. Sandy graduated from Rolling Prairie. She married the love of her life, Jerry on May 9, 1964 in New Buffalo, MI. Together, they owned and operated Gerald's Lunch and the Silver Skillet in Michigan City. She enjoyed going to Four Winds Casino. Most of all, she enjoyed raising her dogs.. Sandy was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and sister and will sadly be missed by all whose lives she touched. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services 602 Maple Avenue LaPorte, IN with Pastor Doug Hawkins officiating. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Saturday afternoon from 1:00 PM until time of service at the funeral home.
