Ruby "Dianne" Wright September 1, 1938-January 4, 2019 Dianne Wright, 80, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Friday January 4, 2019 at La Porte Hospital in La Porte, IN. She was born September 1, 1938 in Woodstock, Illinois, the daughter of George Filip and Marjorie (Martin) Filip. Dianne enjoyed participating in bowling and pool leagues along with playing online poker and taking trips to the casino. More than anything, she loved her dog Teddy. She is survived by her three sons, Roy (Barbara) O'Dell of La Porte, IN, Kenny O'Dell of La Porte, IN, Gary (Terry) O'Dell of West Hills, CA; daughter, Cindy (Teresa) O'Dell of Chandler, AZ; two sisters, Marlina (Frank) Kimble of Woodstock, IL, Lucille Filip of La Porte, IN; ten grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. Diane was preceded in death by both her parents, her daughter, Tracy Wright, and brother, Robert Filip. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Tuesday, January 8, 2019, from 10:00 am till 11:00 am. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Tuesday January 8, 2019 at 11:00 am with Chaplain Joe Mollet from Dunes Hospice officiating.
