Ronald Mulligan

Mr. Ronald J. Mulligan, 61, of 2702 W. CR 950 S., Union Mills, IN., passed away Tues. February 17, 2004, at 11:50 a.m. at his home. He was born March 16, 1942 in Melrose Park, IL., to Emmett and Mary Ryan Mulligan, and had lived here for 32 years, coming from Glen Ellyn, IL. Mr. Mulligan was a supervisor at Universal Bearings for the last 7 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was an avid reader and enjoyed his quiet country life and his animals. On January 28, 1968, in Forrest Park, IL., he married Barbara Owens who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Sharon Tim Talerico of Mill Creek, IN., and Brenda Randy Williamson of Fish Lake, IN.; two sons, Steve Mulligan of New York, NY., and Brian Susan Mulligan of LaPorte, IN.; two granddaughters, Kylie and Alyssa Mulligan; and one grandson, Matthew Mulligan. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Joan Mulligan and Joyce Mulligan. The funeral will be Saturday, February 21, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. at Haverstock Funeral Home, LaPorte, with Pastor John E. Beehler officiating. Friend may call Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until the service. Burial will be in Union Mills Cemetery.
