Ronald Cleaver May 15, 1934-May 5, 2015 Mr. Ronald Cleaver, 80, of La Porte, Indiana, died Tuesday May 5, 2015 at Hospice Franciscan Communities in Michigan City, IN. Ronald is with God after a short illness. He was born May 15, 1934 in Vicksburg, Michigan, the son of Herbert Cleaver and Marie (Cutler) Cleaver. Ronald worked in road construction for Rieth-Riley. He attended the Assembly of God Church of LaPorte. Ronald loved Nascar, playing on his computer, yard work and gardening. On September 7, 1974, in Florida, he married Shirley (Bell) Cleaver who survives. He is also survived by his daughter, Lorri Price of La Porte, IN; son, Gary (Donna) Price of Lehigh, FL; two great-grandchildren, Tyler Stone, and Chole Trim; and one sister, Joyce Noel of Vicksburg, MI. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN where the family will receive friends Saturday, May 9, 2015, from 8:30 am, until time of service. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Saturday May 9, 2015 at 10:30 am with Pastor Jeff Hines officiating.
