Robert Struss

Mr. Robert F. Struss, age 77, of La Porte, Ind., died Tuesday, June 14, 2005, at LaPorte Hospital in La Porte, Ind. He was born, November 6, 1927 in LaPorte, Indiana to Frederick Struss and Kathleen Leeker Struss, who has preceded. Also preceded in death was a brother, Mr. Russell Struss, a brother, Mr. Alvin Struss, a sister, Mrs. Bea Chadderton, a daughter, Debra Kay Struss. Mr. Struss was a life-long resident of LaPorte, Indiana. On July 8, 1952 in LaPorte, Indiana, he was married to Barbara Schultz, who survives. Mr. Struss was employed by New York Blower; He was a Veteran; He Served in the US Army during WWII as a E-5 Sargeant, He was a Honorary Retired Member of the Local #298 International Brotherhood of Teamsters. surviving is his wife Mrs. Barbara Schultz Struss; of LaPorte, IN, Two Sisters, Mrs. Ruth Strauch of Carmel, IN, Mrs. Irene Albert Hocutt of La Porte, IN. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, June 17, 2005, And from 10:00 AM Saturday June 18, 2005 until time of service. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Saturday, June 18, 2005 , Rev. Ronald Brauer officiating. Interment will be at Patton Cemetery in LaPorte, Ind. There will be a Military service held at Patton Cemetery; after the Funeral Service at Haverstock Funeral Home.
