Mr. Robert C. Gault, 70, of 815 S. Mayflower Rd., LaPorte, died Friday March 12, 2004, at 7:00 a.m. at his residence He was born April 5, 1933 in LaPorte, IN., to Charles and Genevieve Langman Gault, and has lived in the LaPorte area all of his life. Mr. Gault was a custodian for the LaPorte Post Office for 24 years and retired in 1995. He also worked at the LaPorte Savings Bank, First National Bank and Later at Modine Manufacturing. He was a member of the Door Village United Methodist Church; he was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean Conflict, 4-H Leader for 21 years. He enjoyed camping, traveling, baseball and basketball games. On September 6, 1958, in LaPorte, he married Patricia Patterson who survives. Also surviving are his mother, Genevieve Gault of LaPorte; one daughter, Connie Gault of Portland, ME.; one son, Wayne Gault of Chicago, IL.; one sister Carol Chuck Trottier of LaPorte, IN.; and one brother, Roger Pat Gault of LaPorte, IN. Preceded in death is his father Charles Gault. The funeral will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Door Village United Methodist Church, with Rev. Jeff Jones officiating. Friends may call Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home, and Tuesday from noon until time of the service at the church.
