Robert Chandler

Mr. Robert Chandler, age 77, of Trail Creek Michigan City, Ind., died Thursday, November 15, 2007, at St. Anthony Hospital in Michigan City, Ind. He was born on May 30, 1930 in Patrick, Kentucky to the late William Chandler and the late Nerva VanHoose Chandler-Belcher. Also preceded in death are two brothers, Donald Chandler, frank Chandler, one Son, Paul Chandler, one Daughter, Lynda Faye, one sister, Billie Glasshagel He was married on October 22, 1954 in New Carlisle, IN to Wilma J. Huge Chandler, who survives in Trail Creek, Ind Mr. Chandler was employed by a Chrysler dealership in Michigan City, Indiana, retiring in 1979 and was a member of Bethel Chapel Church in LaPorte, Indiana. He was a US Army & Air Force Veteran. Also surviving are: One Sister, Mary Bill Bruce of Columbus, Ohio, Four Brothers, Edward Chandler of Valparaiso, Ind, Henry Donna Chandler of Ohio, Sanford Joy Chandler of Columbus, Ohio, Jasper Donna Chandler of Idaho, One grandchild, Dion Bergeron, Three great-grandchildren, Arien Bergeron, Ember Bergeron, Donavon Bergeron. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., There will be no visitation. A Graveside service with burial of ashes will be held at Patton Cemetery LaPorte, IN at 11:00 AM Monday, November 19, 2007, Pastor Larry Owens, officiating. Interment will be at Patton Cemetery in LaPorte, Ind. Memorial contributions may be made to the Donor's Choice.
