Richard Rampke

Mr. Richard F. Rampke, age 71, of La Porte, Ind., died Sunday, September 14, 2008, at LaPorte Hospital in LaPorte, Ind. He was born on August 29, 1937 in LaPorte, Indiana to late Fredrick Rampke and the late Gertrude Wilkinson Rampke. He had lived, most of his life in the LaPorte, Ind. area. Mr. Rampke had been employed by Hunt's Auto Sales in Lake Station, Ind and was a member of St. Mary's of the Lake Church in Milller, Ind and of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in LaPorte, Ind. He was also a member of PNA, Falcon Club, Italian Club in Shereville, Ind., American Legion of Hammond, Ind., Moose Club of Michigan City, Ind. He enjoyed the health club in Chesterton, Ind. and art museums. He had a nick-name for all family members. He loved his family and friends. He loved animals. He is survived by his; Three Daughters, Jennifer Rampke of Chicago, Ill., Pamela J. Jensen of Lansing, Ill., Deborah A. Higginbottom of Chicago, Ill.; One Son, Keith Larsen of Chicago, Ill.; Eleven grandchildren, Two great-grandchildren; Companion, Amelia Sigale of Miller, Ind. and several cousins. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Thursday, September 18, 2008. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 1:00 PM Thursday, September 18, 2008, with Rev. Ian Williams, officiating. Interment will be at Patton Cemetery in LaPorte, Ind.
