Richard Mullins, 48, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Monday November 28, 2022 in La Porte .

He was born February 9, 1974 in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, the son of Roger Mullins and Charleen (Geran) Mullins.
A life-long resident of the La Porte area, Richard had a strong love for animals and took great pleasure in taking care of them.  He also enjoyed playing basketball, cooking, working in the garden and playing cards.

On August 8, 1998, in La Porte, Richard married Stacy Gavin-Mullins who survives.

Richard is also survived by his son, Andrew Mullins; daughter, Chantelle (Nolan) Weldon; brother, Dennis Fall; sister, Trish Wellinski; nine grandchildren, Leona Weldon, Kaydin Weldon, Casimir Weldon, Larry Mullins, Brenden Mullins, Jayden Mullins, Grayson Mullins, Bentley Sasser, Kobe Sasser.

Richard was preceded in death by his son, Jacob Mullins and his father Roger.

Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN.
