Richard W. Johnson November 19, 1920 ? October 19, 2004 Richard W. Johnson, 83, of LaPorte, Indiana, formerly of Chicago, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2004 at the LaPorte Hospital. Richard was born, November 19, 1920 in Rock Island, Illinois, to Florence Wilcox & Arthur C. Johnson. Richard was employed by the Colley Elevator Co., Chicago, IL., where he worked as a elevator construction mechanic, when he retired in 1983. He was a member of the International Union of Elevator Constructors Local #2 of Chicago, IL. Also, a Veteran of the U.S. Army during WW II. Richard leaves behind his loving wife, Dolores F. Schleyer Johnson and his seven children, three daughters, Mrs. Susan M. Ken Korinko of Oak Forest, IL Mrs. Linda D. Alan Ruehl of Ingleside, IL Mrs. Roberta F. Mike Quattrocki of Alsip, IL and four sons, Mr. Richard A. Cinda Johnson of LaPorte, IN Mr. Steven C. Mary Johnson of Glendale, AZ Mr. Kenneth M. Sarah Johnson of Florissant, MO Mr. Michael A. Amy Johnson of West Des Moines, IA Two brothers, Mr. Robert A. Johnson of LaPorte, IN Mr. Willard M. Johnson of Sea Isle City, NJ, fourteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren Visitation will be Thursday 10/21/2004 at the Haverstock Funeral Home, in LaPorte, IN. from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a service at 10:30 AM Friday 10/22/2004 at Haverstock Funeral Home, with Rev.
