Raymond E. Miller, 83, of Westville, Indiana, passed away Wednesday October 18, 2023 at Brickyard Health-Care of La Porte, IN.

He was born June 3, 1940 in Michigan City, Indiana, the son of Bernard Miller and Virginia (Smith) Miller.

Raymond led a life with many interests. He loved to fish and truly enjoyed his time on his boat while fishing the "Lake of the Woods". He also was a big NASCAR fan and just watching sports on TV. He held a special affection for his dogs and was a man who simply, "Loved to work". He was in the Army and was assigned to driving Generals spending time in France. But his true passion was being with his family and enjoyed playing with his grand and great grandchildren while he could. He will be missed by all.

He is survived by his son, Douglas Miller; daughter, Karla Griffin; brother, Michael (Cindy) Miller Rolling Prairie; Bernard (Cora) Miller Jr. La Porte; two sisters, Judy (Larry) Stevens Port Charlotte, FL, and Candy Wendell Mishawaka. 

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents.

Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN. The family has chosen cremation.
