Raymond Johnson January 15, 1947-May 13, 2015 Mr. Raymond Johnson , 68, of Michigan City, Indiana, died Wednesday May 13, 2015 at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Michigan City, IN. He was born January 15, 1947 in La Porte, Indiana, the son of George Johnson and Jean (Szymaszek) Johnson. Raymond was owner of Johnson's TV Service. He was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church. Raymond enjoyed working on cars, televisions and doing yard work. He liked to watch the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bulls. Raymond loved his dog "Samuel" a chocolate lab. He loved going to church, and especially loved his family very much. Raymond was married to Audrey for 44 years.. On March 25, 1971, in Michigan City, IN, he married Audrey (Gangwer) Johnson who survives. He is also survived by his son, John R. Johnson of Michigan City, IN; two daughters, Carol Johnson of Michigan City, IN, Mary (Stephen) Potrzebowski of Westville, IN; several nieces and nephews. Raymond was preceded in death by his two grandchildren, Samatha Potrzebowski, Emily Potrzebowski, one brother, Chester Grys, three sisters, Dolores Kalita, Julie Jones, and Marian Harkeroad. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 19, 2015, from 10:00 am, until time of service at the Bethany Lutheran Church 102 "G" Street, LaPorte, IN. A Memorial Service will be held at Bethany Lutheran Church, Tuesday May 19, 2015 at 11:00 am with Rev. Dennis Meyer officiating. Burial of Ashes will take place at a later date.
