Randall Edwards

Mr. Randall L. Edwards, age 70, of La Porte, Ind., died Friday, March 10, 2006, at 11:10 PM at His Residence in La Porte. He was born December 1, 1935 in LaPorte, Ind. to the late William Edwards and Mary Salzer Edwards. Mr. Edwards was an advertising executive with Randy's Publishing for 20 years semi retiring in 2005. He was a former member of the Fraternal Order of Police. He collected Pottery, Antiques, and enjoyed fishing and hand carved duck decoys. He was a Veteran of the Army National Guard. On February 10, 1968 in Kingsford Heights, Ind. he married Jean Tincher who survives. He is also survived by One Daughter, Mrs. Julie Tim Bietry of Michigan City, Ind.; One Son, Mr. Bob Stephanie Edwards of Schaumburg, Ill.; Four Grandchildren, Justin Edwards, Jenna Edwards, Jennifer McCormick, Ryan McCormick; One Sister, Mrs. Mary Bob Kegebein of LaPorte, Ind.; Three Brothers, Mr. Bill Natoma Edwards of La Porte, Ind., Mr. Charlie Arnieta Edwards of Goose Creek, S.C., and Mr. Jim Connie Edwards of La Porte, Ind. He is preceded in death by is father. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, March 14, 2006 and Wednesday until time of the service. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 15, 2006, Rev. Lucinda Barnem-Steggerda officiating. Interment will be at Pine Lake Cemetery in LaPorte, Ind.
